SARS Expert Committee

The Chief Executive announced on 28 May 2003 the setting up of a Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) Expert Committee to review the management and control of SARS outbreak in Hong Kong.

Seven overseas, two Mainland and two local professionals and experts have been appointed as members of the Expert Committee. The review is expected to be completed by early October 2003 and the Expert Committee will submit to the Chief Executive a report of findings and recommendations.
